Why experiences are important in life

But only for a while. New things are exciting to us at first, but then we adapt to them. That's why we stop cradling the things we buy like a newborn baby within a few weeks; they become the new normal. This is not so with experiences, which actually become more meaningful with time.

Which brings us to the next point. One of the most integral parts of growing to become conscious and empathetic humans is connecting with other people. To expect others to even be able to have the same views and feelings you do about the world is to suggest that they have experienced all that you have!

This quote is in my top three favorites. This immediately enlightens me to the value of traveling already a passion of mine. The warmth and protective care of a parent The selflessness that one learns by raising a child The solemn, harsh reality of war The pain and organic tragedy of losing a friend The challenge in all life phases emotional, physical, spiritual that poor health and chronic illness bring The adrenaline rush and euphoria of winning the Super Bowl or other sports accomplishment…individually or as a team The comfort and joy of having complete trust in another person The depth of love of a long-married couple The first time you experience culture shock The pride in creating something The emotional anguish of a broken heart The horror of genocide and other heinous crimes The wonder of childhood The magic of memories The annoyance of dealing with retail customers The love of human compassion towards each other The dream of getting paid to do what you love The hopelessness of feeling alone and isolated The hope of a new day and a fresh start Being human They all change us.

Not only does it allow children the opportunity to use all their senses when they are exploring a new object or experience, but it also increases motivation, can improve behaviour as the child is more engaged, helps to develop communication and language skills as experiences give children something to talk about, and consequently, further develops their understanding of the world. The Foundation Stage has had a real focus this term on providing the children with first-hand experiences that we hope to continue next term and next academic year.

As a parent, you can also provide your child with first-hand experiences extending their learning outside of school and supporting them in developing key skills used for the rest of their lives. Skip to content. The Importance of Real-Life Experience. This means you have already been through the reality side of the task when you say you have the experience.

No doubt, knowledge gives you all the bookish details and concepts, but experience helps in determining where you stand. It also helps in knowing weakness and strengths you are having. Hence, when given the same work repeatedly, you will come to the concepts you can apply and how you can deal with your strengths and weak points that help in performing in a better way.

This also helps in improving your status and weak points. Be it a small post or big one, the employers always want their employees to be experienced in the work they are going to perform at the office desk. Hence, for getting the desired job done, it is essential to have some experience of the same.

By the word experience, the employers want them to understand their work, how it works globally, and develop all the skills which are not possible to learn from bookish knowledge. Hence, not only the knowledge but the employers are also looking for an experience that would also help them grab more and more opportunities.

The reality is that there should be no such comparison.
