If you are wanting it changed, you will need to speak to your bank Natwest and get them to change it for you on their end. Once changed on their end it will then change on the why it posts it into Quickbooks.
View solution in original post. I have just spoken with the Clearspend Helpline and they assure me the problem is at the QuickBooks end, not theirs. Apparently QuickBooks is misinterpreting the information they are sending. Please can someone look into this and sort it one way or the other? Many thanks. I will contact QuickBooks support also. I am also having this issue with my Nat West Personal credit card I have just added it to quickbooks for the first time and it displays the available credit not the outstanding balance.
Hello there, Bubbleboy ,. I've got the steps to get the outstanding balance of Natwest on your Banking page. The connection may be stuck and you'll want to manually download your transaction.
To do so, simply click the Update button. Feel free to keep working. Check your bank feed again for the missing transaction and categorise it into the correct account. They can check and verify the connection between Natwest and QuickBooks. I contacted support we disconnected and reconnected account and it was all ok with balance showing correctly.
Hi there, Bubbleboy. Thanks for your prompt response. I'd want to make sure you're able to view the outstanding balance on your Natwest personal credit card. Most of the time, our browser's cache store temporary internet files that may cause issues over time. It could be that this is a browser-related problem since you're able to see the balance correctly after disconnecting and reconnecting the account but went back to displaying the available balance again when you logged out.
To confirm, let's use incognito or private window since this does not store cookies and cache. Then, log in to QuickBooks and see if you're able to see the correct balance. Once the cheque has cleared, the value of the cheque will be reflected in the balance including pending transactions. If you have an overdraft, this will also be shown. More information on cheques. For other account types such as savings, loans, mortgages and credit cards the prominent balance in bold is still the Account balance which was previously called Today's balance.
