Felpro head gasket which way up

Thanks for the info. No brainer, I follow the directions then. Some people use silver or aluminum spray paint. I think either sealer or paint is better than nothing on the gasket. The edge of the gasket with the Up stamp must be kept up toward the top of the engine block. In these cases, it does not matter which direction the gasket is installed. If it were crucial, it would be marked. There are no directional markings on the gaskets.
