We see a flashback of her with her cutie mark in flight school in Hurricane Fluttershy. Personally I really hope we get an episode about Fluttershy's parents, it'd be interesting to say the least. Twilight, Pinkie, Rarity Rainbow Dash's family is also a mystery, save for "Rainbow Blaze" who may or may not be her father or older brother I still like the theory of Firefly being her mother even though I know it won't happen in show.

But of all the Mane Six Fluttershy's family is the one we know nothing about, not even any hints. I kind of like the idea of them being strict or not accepting Flutters' "strange" ways, it could make for a good episode.
